agoraphobia (noun): an abnormal fear of being in crowds, public places, or open areas, sometimes accompanied by anxiety attacks.

Solomon Reed is a sixteen year old agoraphobic - he hasn't left his house in three year, two months, and one day. Which he is okay with, the outside world is scary and unpredictable, his home is safe and predictable.

Lisa Praytor is 17 years old, ending her junior year of high school and has her sights set on the second-best psychology program in the country. Only problem is, she must write an essay about her own experience with mental health.

This is when their two worlds collide. Lisa finds Solomon after three years of searching for the boy who stripped then jumped into the fountain at their school. This is how she'll get into the school of her dreams, full scholarship mind you, and out of this town. By fixing Solomon. But the closer she gets to him, the closer her own boyfriend Clark gets to him, the more she starts to wonder if it will be worth it. And the more this friendship will be strained.

This story shows the hardships that teens go through and how devastating they can be. But it also shows the importance of friendship and the strength that our friends give us. Follow Solomon and Lisa on their journey of these few months, watch and grow as they do.

This story will pull at your heart strings at every turn of each page. You will become attached to these characters and be sad when their journey is over.
